It’s one of my favorite weeks of the year… homecoming week! In our school district, that means the entire week is “spirit week”. It’s fun to dress the kids up each day and see them have fun with it too. The girls have always been in the homecoming parade too, so we really enjoy watching it.
MONDAY: wear red. Each grade was assigned a different color and 4th grade was my least favorite color of all… RED. We had SUCH a hard time with this one because I don’t buy anything red. I’m not sure why that is but we scoured the house and couldn’t find anything but some burgundy. So we made do. Felt ball necklaces are from Sprispals!
TUESDAY: crazy hair. The girls already had an idea of what they wanted to do so I didn’t get to input too much. Kasey went with regular pigtails and McKenzie did the unicorn bun with some ponytails.
WEDNESDAY: mis-match. I literally cringe looking at this photo! Again, they picked out everything! I did like the opposite shoe choice!
THURSDAY: wear hat. These outfits make them look like teenagers! I can’t handle it! I also think its a struggle for them to keep their eyes open this early in the morning.
FRIDAY: spirit day. They had to wear their school colors and decided to just wear their cheer uniform. We got some tattoos for their face and they wore their Sprispals bows and bracelets.
Here are some more pictures from the homecoming parade. It was cold so we bundled up! Harper and Mason ate SO. MUCH. CANDY. They had a blast!
We have made it a tradition to vlog this day every year! Subscribe to my YouTube channel to catch the 2018 homecoming vlog posting this weekend!
