life with two sets of twins

trolls 3rd birthday party

As I am deep into planning Harper and Mason’s fourth birthday party, I realized I never blogged from their birthday last year! I did vlog it, but I usually like to share photos/comments on here too. My blog serves as a memory book for me – so I can’t believe I never added it.

Last year (2019), my littlest twins turned THREE! To celebrate we had a Trolls themed birthday party. They were obsessed with Trolls! It’s actually a movie I didn’t mind on repeat all day too.

We had the party at our house. We usually invite just our parents, grandparents, siblings and their kids. I used to have huge parties with all of our extended family but it got to be too much!

Of course I had to set up my cake table – which is my favorite part of any themed party! I usually do a balloon garland. I added the sparkly fringe backdrop and made my own “hug time” garland. The cake is actually one of Sam’s Club’s designs! I picked it right out of their book and thought it fit in well with the theme. I got the hanging Trolls decor from Party City.

The favor baskets are also from Party City. I stuffed them with little trolls dolls, big lollipops, skittles, bracelets, trolls chapstick, trolls gummies and other treats! I added some color to the table by setting out the juices and colorful straws. I also made cupcakes and had the Trolls toppers on them.

For the gift area, I printed out pictures of Harper and Mason’s faces and made some trolls “hair” for them. This was one of my favorite things! It turned out so cute. I used a letter board to but a Trolls quote on too.

Harper and Mason were of course decked out in their Trolls outfits! Harper had a Poppy shirt, rainbow tutu and a little “hair” headband. Mason had a Bergens shirt!

We had a great day! My kids love to talk about their parties all year long. They ask to watch the vlogs too – which is why I’m so happy I have all these memories to save and cherish! If you want to see a more in-depth look at the party, watch the vlog below!
