One of my favorite Christmas traditions is picking out a new Christmas book every year. Our collection is really growing because I’ve been doing it since McKenzie and Kasey were born (2008!). If you do the Elf on the Shelf tradition it would be a fun idea to have the elf bring a Christmas book on the first night every year! Over the years you will begin to cherish all of your books and they can be passed down to your kids and grandchildren. I LOVE special little things that make the holidays even more meaningful. I thought I’d share our absolute favorite ones to read every year.

gift guide for the harry potter lover
It might not come as a shock to most of you but we are a Harry Potter loving family. I don’t mean we like to watch the movies once a year, I mean we might possibly have a large shrine in our basement, tattoos on our body and an obsessive amount of vacations to the Wizarding World under our belt. Harry Potter is life over here. I get tagged in just about any Harry Potter related post on Facebook by my friends. It’s not a secret to most that we are OBSESSED.
I put together the ultimate gift guide for the Harry Potter lovers in your life. Christmas is quickly approaching and a lot of these shops are small. This can mean it will take longer to receive the products because they are hand-made. So its a good idea to get a jump start on your shopping so you will have everything in time for the holidays.
