I know I’m not alone when I say that I have some PICKY eaters on my hands. My ten year old daughters, McKenzie and Kasey, are more of “snackers” than full meal eaters. This has made them pretty specific when requesting snacks from the store. Since they were younger, they have always picked out a bag of Goldfish crackers. When I heard that they just came out with a new line of crackers, I knew I had to bring some home for them to try. They were a hit!Read More »

One thing I’ve learned about myself from 2018 is that I’m a goal setter and planner. I thrive when I have a list, my planner and what I want to achieve written down. I lost 22 pounds last year, hit many milestones in my blogging and vlogging career, and really discovered who I was. I believe I owe all that to planning, as crazy as it sounds. I thought of what I wanted and I went after it. It seems like a simple thought but if you’re not willing to put the work in, nothing is going to change. I want to carry this motivation into 2019 but make it even more intentional.
I’m lucky to call Courtney from Sprispals one of my friends! She always includes my kids in her product photo-shoots. I get the sweetest pictures like these to keep and cherish forever. The photos from her shoots are always some of my absolute favorites! Last month they got to participate in the winter 2018 shoot! I loved this wall as a backdrop so much! These pictures are definitely making their way on our Christmas cards this year!

I don’t know about you guys, but in the months of November and December we attend A LOT of holiday parties. My husband and I have multiple parties for each sides of our family, plus friend parties, and all the kid’s events as well! That usually means eating a lot of turkey, ham, stuffing… all your basic holiday foods.
I think it’s nice to switch up the traditional holiday meals with some other out of the box meals. For at least one of our holiday parities we will do Italian food! It’s still in the same “comfort food” category but many people might not think of it as holiday party food.
