Make sure you check out PART ONE of our Universal vacation to catch up!
universal studios vacation part 1
We decided on taking an adults only trip to Universal Studios Orlando. We planned this vacation on New Years Day 2018, so it has been a LONG year of waiting for it to finally arrive. Our main focus was Halloween Horror Nights, which is the largest Halloween event in the U.S. but obviously wanted to go to the parks too. My parents had never been to Orlando – it was fun seeing everything through their eyes! We had such a fun time but I was definitely ready to get home to my kids after six days!!

Last week we took a little trip to the local apple orchard – one of my favorite fall activities! We had originally planned on going to a larger farm about an hour away from home but the forecast showed rain ALL day. With the anticipation of our plans being canceled (which they were!) I decided to pack up the kids and go to the local farm. We didn’t have much time since we got there an hour before closing but we had fun!

Cody and I were dating for almost four years at this point. We moved from my apartment into a 3-bedroom townhome and then into our current house during those four years. We were basically doing what married couples do but he was still only my boyfriend. Life was going great and I knew he was the one I wanted to marry. I was just hoping that ring would be coming soon! 🙂

Yesterday was a good day. I’ve been feeling like good days are hard to come by recently. My husband works so much (bless that man!) and I’m usually trapped at home with two teething babies and two girls who love to argue back and forth CONSTANTLY. Life has been pretty stressful if I’m being honest. So, when there is a day where everyone is happy and crying is at the bare minimum… I document that ‘ish.
