Halloween is our jam over here. Besides Christmas, it is one of my favorite holidays. I love the decorations, scary movies, costumes… EVERYTHING. I really love all the “spooky” Halloween stories for children. Every year we pick up a couple new Halloween books to add to our collection. I haven’t picked any new ones up yet but I thought I’d share our favorites from previous years.
My absolute favorite Halloween children’s book of all time is Big Pumpkin. I remember it being read to me as a child and I love reading it to my kids now. So if I was going to recommend only one book – it would be that one. Here is the complete list:
