You guys have NO idea how excited I was for this date. I realize that I probably sound obsessed (proud groupie over here 😉 ) but NF has gotten me through the worst year of my entire life. It’s actually funny that almost EXACTLY a year ago, my life was flipped upside down and last night I was seeing the person who helped me through it.
Do I sound crazy yet?
FYI – music can actually be really therapeutic!
I bought tickets for the NF concert in April. The anticipation for this day was REAL. I feel like he was a “B list” celebrity but lately is starting to blow up! If you haven’t heard of him.. look up his music. I’m sure you’ve heard his radio hits Let You Down or Time but he has so many good ones.
NF raps/sings about depression, anxiety, trust, death, God… stuff that actually has meaning and depth. All while not cussing! My daughter Kasey and the babies actually enjoy listening to him too! I was kind of kicking myself for not buying a ticket for Kasey because she likes him so much but it was date night… no kids allowed.
It felt really good to break out my high-heels and wear lipstick which hasn’t happened in a year! haha
My mom came over to babysit the kiddos and we headed to get some drinks and apps before the show. It’s nice being able to sit at the bar sometimes, not needing to ask for booster seats and not having to watch your kids waste the food you just ordered for them! I enjoyed sipping my drinks and people watching. 🙂
The show was incredible. Everything I hoped it would be. I’ll save you from all the low quality videos that I’ve already shared on social media a million times!
I seriously didn’t want the night to end.
