favorite girl backpacks

Can you believe that summer is almost over? It went by so fast! I’m not going to lie though… fall is my jam. I LIVE for hoodie weather, back to school, scary movies and pumpkin spice everything. #basic 😉 My girls are eager to get back to school and see all their friends and I’m beyond ready to get back into our everyday routine. We still need to go school clothes shopping but we did some supply shopping already. I thought I’d share the backpacks McKenzie and Kasey picked out, plus some of our other favorites.

This might be just me but I cringe at “character” items. For instance Dora the Explorer shoes or in this case Disney princess backpacks. If my kids wanted them I’d totally buy them (and definitely have in the past) but since they are getting older and going into third grade, I tried to steer them away from those. I was actually pretty happy with their choices too!

McKenzie is OBSESSED with cats, all which she names “Luna”. Naturally she chose this navy kitten backpack. I thought it was super cute and not too cheesy – not to mention AFFORDABLE!

Kasey chose this black star backpack. This is actually the one I was going to suggest for them, so I’m glad she picked it out all on her own!
