Hey ya’ll!
I always have the urge to say that but I feel like it’s not allowed unless you’re from the south? Like it’s an unwritten rule or something. Whatevs. I had meant to write another blog post this week but it got past me somehow. When my husband has his days off right in the middle of the week it seems as if the days fly by. Anyways, it’s Friday once again! I have been loving on my babies and helping my oldest two with what seems like an endless amount of homework. I’m sorry but I think homework every night for a second grader is a little extreme. Especially if they are a part of any other groups/sports outside of school. I’ll just end that rant right here because I could go on and on… 🙂
Here are some of my Friday Favorites for this week:
ONE – BABY WEARING
Anytime Cody and I go anywhere we always bring the stroller and our baby carriers just in case they are too fussy to stay in the stroller. Well lately, that has been the case a lot with Mason. He absolutely LOVES being held and gets so happy to be in his little carrier. I always see moms who wrap their babies in and do all their household chores. You guys are ROCKSTARS because when I have them hanging off me I can’t even bend over. Haha, seriously I feel like I’m trapped and I usually just walk around until they calm down. Don’t get me wrong I love to wear them but while I’m doing so, nothing is getting done. Here is the carrier that we use: Infantino Baby Carrier.
TWO – CONTOURS TANDEM STROLLER
So I already have a double stroller which is basically just a frame that I snap their car seats into. I love that one because it’s so lightweight and easy to use. Having to take them each out of their car seat to put them in a stroller is such a pain, especially if they are sleeping! But I also wanted another stroller that will last through their toddler years, so I registered for the Contours Options Elite Tandem stroller. I put it together this week and took them for a little stroll around the neighborhood. The seats can change to face forward or back. My favorite position is to have them looking at each other. It was such a smooth ride and they looked a lot more comfortable than being smooshed in their car seats. My only complaint is that the cup holder is SO cheap and just falls off! Where is my Starbucks suppose to go??
THREE – THE GIRLS
This is the current book I’m reading and I cannot put it down! I won’t give away any spoilers but basically the story is about a girl that befriends members of a cult that is supposed to resemble the Manson family. The author is not the greatest writer BUT the story is a good one. Check it out 🙂
FOUR – PRETTY PRETTY PRINCESS
As much as I would like to play this myself, I bought it for my daughters at a mom to mom sale. It was a hit with them and they haven’t stopped playing the last few days. I remember playing this game as a child and knew they would love it too. Seriously how cute are they??
Bently loves it when I wear him, too!! I actually have that same infantino carrier, as well as a boba wrap that I got at my shower. IMO, the boba is 20x better when baby must be held and you have shit to do! I can’t do very much while I’m wearing him in the infantino, but with the wrap I can do anything that requires 2 hands while he is in it, no problem! They are kinda pricey but I woulda have definitely bought one if I didn’t get it as a gift!
