It’s full on snowing here in Michigan which makes me want to skip Thanksgiving to go right to Christmas! We even set up our Christmas decorations already! Growing up, my family always decorated the day after Thanksgiving but I can’t wait that long!
Here are some things that I’m already loving this cold season:
I actually shared these last year too! They are THE BEST winter boots. They last forever and are so warm and comfortable. I couldn’t wait to break these bad boys out!
We got a new tree this year! We’ve had the same tree since Cody and I first met and I thought it was time to upgrade. I’ve been loving the “flocked” tree look. Flocked basically means it has the fake snow on it. My house is already very dark so I feel like the white on the tree brightens the room up and looks a lot better. This one from Walmart is really affordable and was SOOOOOOOO easy to put together!
Every year I like to add a book or two to our Christmas collection. I change out the books every season in the kid’s rooms and Christmas is just the best. One of the books I got this year is from Usborne Books. It’s a board book and plays music on every page. Harper loves it!
I’ve worn this a handful of times and have gotten asked about it EVERY time. It’s super soft and warm. The best part? It’s only $30 on Amazon Prime!!!!

Okay, if you haven’t gotten the Disney+ app then you need to! So many good throwback movies and shows from my childhood, not to mention almost every Disney movie you could think of. The kids are loving it but so am I! If you have a Verizon unlimited account you can get a year free or else it’s only $7 a month! We now have this, Netflix and Hulu. Who needs cable?!
It’s a short list this month but that’s because I’m already going to be sharing so much stuff for the holidays with my gift guides. I didn’t want to over-do it.
