I decided to try something fun and do a Friday Favorites blog post each week. This will entail me sharing some of my favorite items, activities, places, people etc. that week. I totally got this idea from some of my other blogging friends, so thanks! 🙂
One.
This week I have been loving this Michigan weather (high 70s, low 80s). I’m SO excited for FALL. Fall in Michigan is the BEST time of the year. I even opened my windows for the first time all summer. This is shocking because if you know me then you know I like my house freezing! Anyways, in preparation for this holy time of the year, I had to paint my nails the appropriate color. OPI – Malaga Wine.
Two.
If you follow me on Snapchat then you have already seen these new mugs I’m obsessing over. My neighbor Sarah made them for me. Obviously personalized for yours truly. 🙂I strongly believe that coffee is essential in order to function so cute mugs are a must. I brought them home and my husband just rolled his eyes. Do we really need more mugs? Yes. Yes hunny we do.

THIS IS LIFE CHANGING. I REPEAT. THIS IS LIFE CHANGING. Well… at least for your baby! Another one of my snap chat rampages showed my struggle with finding the perfect diaper rash cream for the babies. My pediatrician recommend Bag Balm which is not found in the baby section but instead by the pharmacy. It cleared up my daughters RAGING rash in a couple days. I heard this stuff was originally made for cow utters (and it really does smell like a farm) but now has many uses for skin. Pretty neat. 🙂
Four.
My oldest daughters are back to school in a few days and I really just felt like I needed to have routine again in my life. So, I went to Target (where else would I go??) and grabbed this planner. I am literally writing down EVERYTHING I need to do each day, from which rooms to clean, meals I’m making, etc. I’m also starting a workout routine after Labor Day so I will log that in there too. I love being able to ‘check’ things off that I complete. Gives me a sense of accomplishment, haha. And those Kate Spade paper clips are so adorable right?
Five.
Saving the best for last of course. I was late to the game reading this because of my OCD when it comes to books. I can’t start a new one without finishing the one I’m currently reading. Even if the book totally sucks, I HAVE to finish. But man oh man. This didn’t disappoint. I only wish it was more like a book instead of a script. I missed all the quirky details Harry Potter books usually have. I have been waiting for the “19 years later” since the Deathly Hollows came out so I was mesmerized by the outcome of the characters lives. I read this book in one day, it was that good. What really sucks is that Cody has yet to read it so I can’t even discuss it with him!! Ah! Also, who knew that I would love Draco Malfoy’s son so much? 🙂
