Yes, you heard that right. On June 23rd, 2016 I gave birth to my second set of twins! A sweet baby boy and girl. I will blog about that special day later. 🙂 I have had so much interest and people telling me I should start a blog about life with two sets of twins, so here I am. I love connecting and following other mommy bloggers/vloggers, especially ones with multiples! So feel free to leave me comments with questions or any advice you may have.
I like to call our family “the Soltrop Six” because we are now a giant family of six! And yes, I had to buy a minivan.. which I LOVE. My first two daughters are from a previous relationship and have a last name starting with “S”. The rest of us are the Holtrops. So therefore we are the Soltrops. Ha! I know, I’m very original. As for a little introduction.. My name is Nicole, I’m 26 and recently left my job in foster care to stay home with my little munchkins. I’m married to Cody who works for the State of Michigan as a corrections officer (you guys, Orange is the New Black is NOT what really goes down in prison!). I had my first set of twin girls, McKenzie and Kasey, in December 2008. I found myself fresh out of high school, 18 years old and taking care of TWO newborns. It was a struggle back then but when M&K were one year old I met Cody and from there on out, we’ve been doing life together. It has been amazing. As I already said, we recently had our second set of twins, Mason and Harper. It has been insane in this household. I feel like we are just trying to survive life with newborns.
I will be using this blog as a way to share our everyday experiences with you guys. The good, the bad and the ugly. Follow along if you dare! 🙂
