I always get so excited when my friend Courtney over at Sprispals asks me if I want to participate in her photo-shoots! It’s fun to help support my friend and her business but I also get some really cute pictures of my kids! Some of my most FAVORITE pictures of my kids came from these shoots. This time around the girls were at their dads house so they weren’t able to join in the fun.
spirit week 2018
It’s one of my favorite weeks of the year… homecoming week! In our school district, that means the entire week is “spirit week”. It’s fun to dress the kids up each day and see them have fun with it too. The girls have always been in the homecoming parade too, so we really enjoy watching it.
the uncertainity of feeding your little ones | happy family organics
I’m a part of a million mom groups on social media and I’ve noticed a trend on what is talked about within the group. It’s usually other moms giving their medical diagnoses, complaining about husbands who don’t understand and what our little ones are eating. Once you have your own child, you think you’re an expert on parenting, don’t deny it… we all think our way is the right way. Well, not all children are the same. Maybe your 12 month old is a pro at eating solids but someone else’s 12 month old might not be even close to being ready to start solids. This is when its best to seek out expert opinions, rather than trying to see what Betty from the mom group is doing with her child.
interview questions to ask your kids every year | free printable
I’ve been wanting to do a yearly interview with my kids forever but always forget! So today I complied a list of fun questions and I sat down to interview them. Obviously I’m only doing my oldest daughters because my two year olds can’t answer just yet. Since McKenzie and Kasey are twins, I interviewed them separately to see how different/similar their answers would be. They had quite a few of the same answers!
I made a free printable for all of you (scroll down)! I can’t wait to print ours off every year and save them! How fun will it be for them to look back when they are older and see how their answers change over the years.
spooky halloween books for kids
As I’m typing this blog post… I’m surrounded by four LOUD wild and crazy kids. Kasey is teaching the babies to say, “I like big butts and I cannot lie”. Mason just chucked the remote at his sisters head. McKenzie is asking me if she can wear her bra to school tomorrow.
This is my life you guys. I’m slightly obsessed with them.
BUT what you really came here for was to know our favorite Halloween books for kids!
