Happy Labor Day! This past week we had a ton of stuff going on. Every day there was some kind of event. I actually liked how busy we were staying. It felt good to get out of the house even if it was just for a little while. School starts tomorrow and our lives will fall back into a strict routine – which I LOVE. I can’t believe my little baby girls are going to be starting 3rd grade! It’s just crazy! Since it was such an eventful week I thought I’d share some pictures from it! Here’s our highlight reel:
friday favorites | back to school must haves for girls
Happy Friday! I woke up to amazing chilly weather here in Michigan and I’m totally loving it! Fall is definitely upon us and I’m soaking it all in. Today I’m sharing some friday favs – back to school style. McKenzie, Kasey and I did some back to school shopping already but still need to get a few more things. These items are on our top five must have list this year!

Happy Friday! I’m bringing you another favorites post to share what we’re currently loving. Whenever I find stuff I absolutely have to share with you all, I write it down and save it for a special Friday. So here we go!
m & h are one year
I’m honestly sitting here staring at my computer screen, thinking of the right words to describe my feelings. The best ones coming to mind are HOLY. SHIT. I cannot believe I’m writing Harper and Mason’s one year update. This had to be the fastest year of my life! Since Cody and I don’t plan on having anymore kids, its really an emotional feeling. I will never again feel tiny baby kicks in my belly or feel the intense (but SO amazing) rush of emotions when you hold your baby for the first time. Those are such special feelings that you don’t know exist until you’re in that moment. I’m so blessed to be able to have four amazing babes but ahhh… it’s a sad feeling when your tiny littles grow up. Shoot, I think I cried when they moved out of newborn size clothing! 🙁 So, here we are… Harper and Mason are done with their first year of life.
cya next time disney | days five & six
Well after an exhausting night at the E.R., we got back to our resort around 2:00 AM. I couldn’t sleep at all. I felt so bad for Kasey and thought our last two days at the parks were going to be horrible. No fast rides and no water… our vacation literally only involved those two things. Luckily, I was wrong.
