Oh Monday…here you are again. I’m already missing the extra long weekend. However, I do feel refreshed and ready to get back into our normal routine. I am thankful that my husband not only had the holiday off but he had THREE days off during the break. That doesn’t happen very often for us. I love spending all that time as a family especially when its Mason and Harper’s very first holidays!
We spent Thanksgiving with Cody’s family. His parents only live a few houses over from us so we didn’t have to travel too far ;). It is always nice to visit with extended family that you don’t get to see that often. I didn’t take as many pictures as I usually do (failed at my job as a mamarazzi) but I did get a few! How adorable did M & K look on Thanksgiving?
Speaking of them, they were unusually well behaved this weekend. Not that they are ever terrible but they both got along well, without any fighting over toys or any dramatic girl arguments. They played a lot of Barbies and read a TON. I added lots of new books into my shopping cart for them this Cyber Monday because they are very into reading right now. Obviously they take after their mama. 😉
My little squirts didn’t give me any breaks this weekend. They are still sleeping horribly. Mason is starting to roll all over the place in his sleep which makes me nervous, which then attributes to my lack of sleep. Oh man, the rough nights seem like they will never end. Until they do I will continue to survive off coffee and sugar.
So, besides all that fun I did a lot of Christmas shopping, eating and binge watching Shameless. It was a great weekend! I hope you all enjoyed yours as well. 🙂
