Another year has flown by and I can honestly say its been the most stressful one yet. Having two little babies can really turn your life upside down. I don’t think I could have navigated through it without my incredible husband by my side. It feels weird saying that we’ve been married for two years because it feels SO much longer than that.
Like I said in my last post, we jumped hard and fast into a relationship 7.5 years ago. We lived together almost right away so in my head, we’ve been married our whole relationship. Nothing really changed when we said our vows. Life stayed the same but now I have a pretty ring to show off.
This past year however, has been rough. I’ve been struggling with being a stay at home mom and having one year olds connected to me almost 24/7. I’m so thankful for Cody, who reminds me constantly that life will get easier. There are days when I’m a raging bitch and nag him about the tiniest things. He’ll just ignore me until I get over it – which is exactly what I need. He knows when I need breaks, he knows when I need a hug, he knows exactly what to say when I feel like my world is crashing down. Ok.. I can tell this is getting pretty sappy.
Cody, I’m so glad that you’re my person. I’m glad you love the same dumb stuff I do. We can rap every battle from 8 Mile and quote every second of Scary Movie (it was my first keg party Bobby!). We love sending ugly pictures of our kids to each other and scaring them with Halloween masks. I love that we will almost always choose a Universal vacation over anywhere else #HPforlife. I’ll refrain from typing anything else because I don’t want to embarrass ourselves :). I think it’d be pretty hard to find someone else who connects with me on every level. I look forward to our long, long life together.
