As much as I was dreading the drive from Michigan to Florida I was so happy the day was finally here! I didn’t do much research about the drive because we were leaving at night and didn’t plan on stopping anywhere, except to use the restroom and eat. There was no time to add in other stops, even though I really wanted to roam around Nashville and Atlanta. Looking back now, I would probably make the drive again. If you asked me that during the trip, I would have said HELL NAH.
ta-ta for now
If you can’t read this adorable sign it says “going to Florda now bye.” — Kasey 🙂
Well, this is it. All the countdowns, planning, anxiety (mostly due to leaving my babies), and excitement has lead us up to this day. The day we leave for DISNEY! Cody and I have wanted to take McKenzie and Kasey to Disney since they were very young. We decided to wait until they were tall enough to ride everything and remember the trip forever. Eight years old just seemed like the perfect age I guess.
we’re going to disney!
It’s official. We leave for Disney/Universal in just NINE days. We have been planning and saving for this trip for almost a year. After having Harper and Mason I knew that I wanted to do something special for McKenzie and Kasey. They were no longer my only babies and their lives would forever be changing. I was right in thinking they would need some one-on-one time with us. They have been the best big sisters, exceeding the expectations I had for them ;)… so they totally deserve this! I thought I would share some more trip details and what we have planned so far.
