Just like adults, kids have their own love language. It’s important to connect with them on that level where they will feel loved the most. I would say that my children’s love language is QUALITY TIME. Some more than others, but overall quality time is one of their love languages. This might stem from them being twins and literally never having time to themselves.

how I’ve dealt with PTSD
As many of you already know, or if you’re seeing my blog for the first time… 2018 was a really shit year for me. I struggled with my mental health and towards the end of the year, I found something out that was a HUGE life changing moment for me. Since that moment on Sept 18th, 2018 at 9:30 in the morning (Yep. I know the time because its so engraved in my mind) I have struggled with PTSD in a major way. As time moves forward, it gets easier but it’s still such an ever present force in my life that I deal with EVERY DAY.
getting back into the school routine with natrol
This post is sponsored by Natrol but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.
After spending months doing whatever the heck we want, it’s pretty hard getting back into the school routine. McKenzie and Kasey will be going into 5th grade. This means they’re at the age where going to school isn’t “fun” anymore. They HATE early mornings and the older they get, the MOODIER they get!! Since school doesn’t start for a couple more weeks, I wanted to get them back into school habits early. I’m going to share some tips on getting your kiddos back in a good nighttime routine.
