Since I am a second time twin mom I really knew what I actually NEEDED in my diaper bag this time. I am the type of person who hates to even carry around a purse so less is more to me! However, “less is more” doesn’t always apply when you have two little ones. Double the babies, double the shit stuff. I’m going to share what I think are the most important items to keep in your diaper bag. Please note: what you’ll want to pack will vary depending on your child’s age.
friday favorites | valentine’s edition
I have really been missing all our Christmas decor around the house. It seems so empty! So I’m excited the next holiday is quickly approaching. I enjoy walking through stores and seeing their holiday displays and items. Although I don’t typically decorate my house for Valentine’s Day, I am always buying cute things for the kids (sometimes hubby gets something too). So instead of doing a regular Friday Favorites blog, I thought I would share some of my favorite Valentine’s Day related items I have been loving. Maybe it will give you some ideas for your littles or husband… or yourself 馃槈 #treatyoself
m & h are six months
SIX MONTHS. HALF A YEAR. Yep, Harper and Mason are (well since I’m late posting their update 馃槈 ) now over six months old. That seems like pure craziness to me. Shouldn’t I still be swaddling my newborns? Weren’t we just putting them in the car seats for the first time and carrying them out of the hospital? Oh no, cue all the ugly mama bear tears. It goes by WAY to fast. Okay, I won’t get too emotional here. Lets move on before I wake them up from their naps just to hold them tight…
new year resolutions | goodbye target
I totally wrote this before the new year but I’m just getting around to posting. I’m usually not one for resolutions, but I’ve had a hard time transitioning back into my ‘normal’ self since having Harper and Mason. We’ve also been a one income family for almost a year and it is time to start acting like one, aka goodbye Target. 馃檨 Here is to hoping these goals help with both of those problems!
