life with two sets of twins
Wow, this month flew right by us. Once again we were coming to the end of the month and realized we needed to do date night. DON’T SKIP IT PEOPLE!
Since we were so last minute, babysitters were scarce – which means time to break out our “in-home” date night! It was a good kick-off to Cody’s vacation week!
The need for this months date night was EXTREME. It’s summer and sometimes having two tween girls and and two toddlers at the same time can be exhausting. At least ONE of the four is always crying, they are always fighting and basically driving me insane! I couldn’t wait to run out of the house last night!
Ok.. best date so far this year!
If you’re new around here, my husband and I decided to plan one date day/night per month, EVERY month, no matter what. We started doing this to improve our marriage and so far (5 months in) it is something we look forward to and has done amazing things for us. Scroll down to check out our January-April dates.
Welcome back to another date night blog! This month our date changed weekly – the days we chose wouldn’t work out for some reason or another. I thought we would end up skipping an April date but then I told Cody, NO we need to make time to get out of the house without kids NO. MATTER. WHAT.
So we did.
I’m sitting here watching Trolls, literally reciting LINE FOR LINE because I’ve watched it every day for the past eleven years (or so it feels) and listening to my husband snore on the couch. Mom life is the best life – haha! I’m feeling happy and blessed, so I thought I’d write this post right now and share my fun day.
