Buying stocking stuffers is my favorite type of gifts to buy! They are usually pretty cheap and you can really customize each stocking to each child. I have FOUR stockings to do this year – which actually makes me really excited! Without a doubt, girls are the best to buy for. I could list off a million things that would be perfect to go in their stocking and maybe five things to go in Mason’s.
Here’s what I’m throwing in my 9 year old girl’s stockings this year:
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and it will be my first one as a mama to four! Four little humans depend on me for survival. That’s intense if you actually think about it! We as mamas nurture, teach, feed, provide and most importantly unconditionally love our littles. I’ve been a single mom, a teen mom, a working mom, a stay at home mom, a mom of twins…twice, a married mom and a co-parenting mom. Let me tell you, every single one of those things are hard to do. Whether you have one kid or five kids, its hard. You deserve to be reminded how incredible you are, so enjoy your special day! But definitely don’t forget about the ones you depended on to survive too! Love you mom! MUAH
Here are my go-to mama’s day gifts…
April 3rd already. Holy cow, this year is just flying by. Harper and Mason recently turned nine months old and I have yet to work on their pictures or update (coming soon… I hope). I’m so busy doing not much of anything except hanging out with babies all day. It’s amazing how hectic my life can feel when in all honesty I rarely leave my house on most days!
It can be really hard to buy for a newborn-6 month old baby. They’re at an age where they are just discovering new things, not very mobile and they honestly aren’t going to care what you get them. Since my little babes are 5 months old now and lots of people are asking me what they should get them for the holidays, I wanted to put together a little gift guide. I also like to shop small whenever possible so all items featured are from small shops! I’m ALWAYS stalking Instagram or Etsy for the cutest baby items. When you shop small you are going to find handmade (aka WELL made) items that most likely your recipient doesn’t already have. Here is a list of useful gifts that both mom and baby will appreciate. 🙂
