This last week has honestly been one of my worst in awhile. Today marks exactly seven days since my wisdom teeth were removed. Actually let me be more specific. Today marks seven days since I laid wide awake while someone was basically on top of me, using my body to brace himself, as he pulled at ONE of my teeth for an hour. I was waiting for my jaw to snap right off honestly. After two hours of that cruel sick shit, he told me that I should have probably been put to sleep because my roots were so jammed in there. He also didn’t even do my last tooth. COOL. I’m sorry but hell no. I would rather have 20 more c-sections then live through that again. Hello, little last wisdom tooth but me and you are bffs for life. Ride or die baby.
My recovery hasn’t been the greatest. I’m still unable to fully use my mouth or speak correctly for that matter. Ibuprofen has become my best friend and chewing my enemy. Luckily, I chose to get this done while Cody had a mini vacation from work. I’m sure what he envisioned spending that time doing was taking care of me. š
On top of that, I’ve never been so screwed from a time change. It didn’t change the babies’ schedules an hour or so here and there, it turned their world upside down. I have no idea what happened but oh. my. god. Their naps are non-existent and they are hungry, tired, etc. at different times all day! Twins on complete different schedules? No bueno. As I’m typing this, I hear them in their cribs kicking the walls because they won’t sleep. Its 1:30pm and they haven’t had a nap yet today. It just blows my mind. I can only wish it will return to normal soon.
I can tell this post is turning into a rant so I’ll throw in something cheerful that happened recently. McKenzie and Kasey went to their first Daddy/Daughter dance yesterday. It was so sweet. After I had to force the iPads out of their hands to get them ready (yes my kids are those iPad kids) they started to get excited. It was freezing outside so a nice smiling picture was hard to come by. Their dad pulled up in a limo (which was a surprise to them) and already had Justin Bieber on the playlist. I wanted to be that mom who followed them to the dance and watched through the windows but it was just too cold for all that. š
One last exciting thing… we are 38 days away from our Disney/Universal trip and we couldn’t be more excited! I plan to blog/vlog everything about our trip so be prepared for that! Make sure you subscribe to my Youtube channel to keep up with our latest vlogs! Love you all!
I think you should consider a different dentist.
All the stuff you went through is BS.
To late now for the wisdom teeth extractions.
I can give recommendations in the future. Just saying. Was in the dental family for 35 + years.
I know, I really wasn’t happy with what happened. I wish I would have just gotten put to sleep in the first place. It has been 8 days now and I’m still in pain!
