Our kids are finally out of school for the summer, so I’m sharing our 2023 Summer Bucket List Ideas! My kids have so much fun helping me think of ideas every year. Their favorite part is probably getting to cross them off the list when we complete one though! Come take a peek at what we came up with for the 2023 summer.

Summer is all about fun and getting that break from school. I understand that most parents still have to work and aren’t able to complete a 100+ list of ideas. For that reason I decided to keep it under 40 ideas. Most likely, a lot of them can be done right in your town! By keeping your summer bucket list short, it won’t seem so overwhelming and tedious. Remember you want to keep this fun! The list I have provided is 38 items but feel free to swap out or add your own too!
Need help finding local places/ideas to your list? Try local Facebook pages or your “event” page on Facebook. You will likely find concerts, shows, kids events, carnivals, etc. so you can add them to your own list. I am from the Grand Rapids, MI area and they have a whole website dedicated to kids and local activities (GRkids.com). Websites like these are super helpful when trying to find things to do around town for your summer bucket list.
Another good resource for summer bucket list ideas is Pinterest! You most likely found my list on there, right? Keep looking around and take ideas from other people’s lists. You can really make it your own. Do you want to create a bucket list for you and your spouse? Or maybe have it geared towards teens? You can pull ideas from lots of places to create your own list.
